Amidst My Hectic Schedule

The summer term has just took off this week so off we went with our energies as well. Though its really hectic and super toxic at school but on top of that we never forget to have some fun time chatting about our best and worst classes. There is always time for fun in the office. Perhaps this is what I like best in my workplace. The people who are always gay and we try to uplift each other's moods most especially when one isn't that happy with working at this time where everyone is as busy as a bee. Well, the summer has its own advantages though such as that its time and days flies so fast like a wink of an eye. Whew! This is what I like best in summer. Smiles. On the other hand, summer has much more disadvantages as it has its pros. To mention a few, summer's time is short and yes it is truly limited in terms of preparation time and break times most especially on days off. This summer we only have one day off that is on Sundays. Saddened. On top of that, summer is really the busiest time of the school year so everybody's mood isn't that well at this time plus the weather is terribly hot and roasting which makes everybody cranky and short-tempered. Well, these are just some of its ups and downs. I want to really focus on the good sides of summer for me to stay up and about until I go home this year end. This is somehow my greatest motivation in working here as I am away from my comfort zones. Whew! Smiles. I can and will make it through. Surely!!!

I Have Enough with It

I'm thinking right now of how bored I am with my life here. I'm thinking the solution would be to buy a time machine which I could happily set to the day that I am gonna leave this hell-like place. I can say that coz I'm as bored as hell here. I have enough of this place which makes me think this way. There has been many reasons running through my mind right now which makes me say these things and which concretize my idea. I want to stay as positive as I could be but I think I have to work more effort on combating the battle with my mind and with the environment I am in right now. I hope I could win these challenges successfully.

Waxberry Picking with Some Good Friends

This afternoon we had a great escapade in a town nearby our place. We have a close friend who is a nurse and she set up a getaway with her other doctor colleagues in the hospital. The town is a hometown of one of her colleagues who is a doctor. His family owned a farm in that town where we went. The town is just a 20-minute drive from the city center itself. While we were on the car, he played really great and classical music which soothed our ears and made us feel at home. When we arrived there we just took a few minutes dropping by his house and then head off to his waxberry farm which is on top of the mountain. The steep climb made us more excited to pick waxberries right from its tree. Whew indeed! I couldn't forget how excited I was at that time. So, the minute we arrived there I hurriedly picked the fruit and I forgot to put it in my little basket instead, I put it in my mouth until I felt full and burp to my stomach's content. Grins. The first few pick was so great and I felt really good when I first touched the waxberries right from its tree. Its trees doesn't grow tall so it's really easy to pick, no more extra efforts to do it. I felt like a newborn baby crawling under those trees and picking and eating waxberries to my content. We went home later that day at around three and ate some great fish cuisine in a fine restaurant nearby the town. That escapade was really awesome and memorable. It will be instilled in my memory until I grow old.  I guess these waxberries could tell the rest of the story running through my mind right now.

The Reason Why

It has been days now that I haven't updated my blogs. I miss my blogs. I was a bit busy with my busyness these days. I have been addicted with this TV show - Prison Break. I really am so interested in finishing all the episodes I downloaded. Now, I am back into blogging again. Smiles. Will be writing more often from now on.

Golden Sign Again!!!

Today is my day off and obviously I have to stay home but today somebody from the school called me up just in time for me to finish bathing. Gosh! She said I need to come to school for me to sign the postcards of my students. What for? Gosh why should I come to school on my DAY OFF just for my precious signature?! Well, so much are spent for whining and I really dragged my butt to school. No choice but to go there since they need to send the postcards tomorrow just in time for the upcoming Children's Day. Well, I'd just spend an hour or maybe two and I'd order something for my laptop too so as to hit two birds in one stone.

Parents are the Best Teachers?

Parents are the best teachers. Do you concur to this idea? If not, on what grounds don’t you agree? Haven’t you learned many good things from your parents? This same idea was brought up to me when I had my teachers’ training several years ago for a special examinations instructor. I had this topic on our essay writing session. I indeed wrote a 250 word essay on this topic. I thought my ideas were only left on the paper but as I went looking for my life and success, I found out that what I wrote on that piece of paper were the same values I’ve learned from my loving parents which serves as my guide now that I am out of my comfort zones. More so as I’ve got to live on my own now, I found out that I’m living the way my parents raised me up as child. The values they taught me when I was a young girl helped me in my decision making and most especially how I should behave with other people now that I’m in a foreign land. Indeed, I can say that I’m so proud of my parents for molding my young mind as I was in my vulnerable and delicate years. Without them, I’d be like a sheep going nowhere without direction and aim in life.

I Had Fun with My Kids and Middle School Studes Today

Today is no different from my other weekends here. I got observed by a parent in my second class in the afternoon. I guess it didn't go well with us since I only played little games with them and I don't know if the parent enjoyed my class. Well, that smile on her face was enough to tell me everything was okay with her. I just love my second elementary studes class' coz they are all brainy and receptive in the class. I could see real enthusiasm painted on their faces every time we see each other. In fact, on of my students was so early - Karen and she was the one who won in the English speaking contest here in our place. Pretty proud for her as well. Her mother really gave me a gift after that. Grins.

Well for my middle school studes this afternoon was really great having them. Five of them in my class and we only have one boy - Tom whom we often mistakenly call 'her/she' instead of 'he/him'. Smiles. The class was pretty receptive and eager to chat this afternoon. There was never been a dull moment in the class. That made me took a sort of breather with them after a long but rewarding day with my elementary studes in the morning. Smiles.

Golden Sign

While I was on the verge of my lesson planning this afternoon Tina my class monitor came into my room and handed in some papers to sign. I asked her what are those for and she replied that it has to do with the upcoming graduation of my students. Whew! That means, the spring term is about to end. Sad to know but I am partly happy as well for my agonies would end for my naughtiest class ever! Though surely I will miss my students most especially my favorite - HF1ABs. They are just so enthusiastic learners and all the time willing to cooperate in class. There weren't any dull moments in that class which makes me say even now that I would definitely miss them. As I finished signing all the papers, I realized that CHANGE is constant. Though I already know this fact but experiencing it is more realistic. I always deal with change in my life but having such a wonderful class made me say that I hate change. No, not to that point but but but,,,it's just that I'd miss them.

Happy to Have a Breather

Today is the first day of my week here at school but luckily I haven’t got any class tonight. I still went early to school as always and prepared for my week’s lesson plans. I usually make LPs before the busiest days – Saturdays and Sundays. I need to otherwise; I’d be having disastrous classes at the end of the day. Grins. I'd better be prepared in every battle than catching myself empty handed. Chances are that I can be shoot to death easily like in a matter of seconds. Smiles.

Fun Race

I’ve come up with such wondrous ideas while I was bathing this morning. I read it in one of the suggested sites of my colleague and I applied it in my class with elementary school students. Indeed, it really worked out with them. We enjoyed a lot most especially when we run out of time while making the Olympic torches for we weren’t able to go to Wenzhou to witness the official torch pass by. We just created some games and fun stuffs to spice our classes with a taste of the Olympics thing. Today’s been all right for all of us in school and I hope it would be the same tomorrow.
